主要特征：
1、富有弹性，可作为防震、密封、衬垫和弹性钢丝针低毡的材料。
2、由于毡合性能好，不易松散，可冲切制成各种形状的零件。
3、保温性能较好，可作为隔热保温材料。
4、组织紧密，孔隙小，可作为良好的过滤材料。
5、耐磨性较好，可作为抛、磨光材料。
其化学性质：
聚丙烯纤维主要危害表现为对皮肤粘膜的刺激作用， 长年接触，
能与蛋白质结合、高浓度吸入时出现呼吸道严重的刺激和水肿、眼刺激、头痛。
